How close are we to local attractions:

Poipu Beach - We are on Poipu Beach!
Named America's Best Beach by The Travel Channel, ranking top among the 10 "best" beaches selected nationwide. This beach is a series of golden sand crescents, strung together where beach-goers will find snorkeling, swimming, a natural ocean wading pool, boogie-boarding and surfing.

Waimea Canyon – 30 miles / 55 minutes drive - See location
Waimea Canyon is the largest canyon in the Pacific and truly a dramatic sight to behold. The canyon measures 10 miles long, 1 mile wide, and more than 3,500-feet deep. It was carved thousands of years ago by rivers and floods that flowed from Mount Waialeale's summit.

Na'Pali Coast - 37 miles / 1 hour, 7 mins - See location
Kauai’s famous coastline is truly majestic, featuring emerald green pinnacles towering along the shoreline for 17-miles. Located on the North Shore of Kauai, the Napali Coast features panoramic views of the vast Pacific Ocean, velvet green cliffs and cascading waterfalls plummeting into deep, narrow valleys.

Hanalei Bay - 45 miles / 1 hour, 16 mins - See location
At two miles (3.2 km) long, Hanalei Bay is the largest bay on Kauai and considered one of the best beaches in all of Hawaii. Hanalei means “lei-shaped bay” in Hawaiian and nothing fits the bay’s shape more perfectly than this description. It is a long half moon of golden sand.

Nawiliwili Bay - 15 miles / 31 mins - See location
Nawiliwili is really the name of the harbor rather than the name of a town. The port lies outside of Lihue, the main town on Kauai. While the port resides in Nawiliwili Bay, so does the excellent Kalapaki Beach.

Kalalau Trail - 51 miles / 1 hour, 28 mins - See location
The Kalalau Trail provides the only land access to this part of the Na Pali Coast rugged coast. The trail traverses 5 valleys before ending at Kalalau Beach where it is blocked by sheer, fluted pali.

Kokee State Park - 35 miles / 1 hour, 8 mins - See location
North of Waimea Canyon on Kauai’s West Side is Kokee State Park. Spread over 4,345 acres on a plateau 3,200 to 4,200 feet above sea level, Kokee State Park is covered in forest, wild flowers and hiking trails making it an excellent spot to see native plants and colorful endemic Hawaiian forest biroads like the apapane, iwi and moa. The park also offers roughly 45 miles of the state's finest hiking trails. Some trails lead to views of Waimea Canyon, others wind through wet forests with sweeping views of valleys opening up to the North Shore.
